I’m Megan, a graphic designer based in Todmorden, West Yorkshire. I love creating, curating and evolving brands and businesses, using the creativity and technical skills I’ve developed over my busy career.

 

Graphic design

I’ve worked in design for 17 years, fulfilling a number of different roles: in-house designer, studio manager, contractor and freelancer. My clients have included big brands and household names right through to sole traders, new start-ups, SMEs and arts & community organisations. They cover the whole of northern England too, as well as a major Australian brand I worked for while living there.

 

Artwork

I produce consistent print-ready artwork and packaging, and carefully optimised artwork for websites and social media.

Project management

I’ve got the contacts and organisational skills to oversee entire projects, from initial concepts to finished products. This includes sourcing and coordinating copywriting, web development, illustration and photography, using a trusted network of talented freelancers.

 

Print production

Managing a busy studio has given me extensive experience of working with the print industry, plus a fantastic contact book full of great suppliers. It means I can source, commission and manage the best quality print and finish for any given budget, often using local printers I’ve already worked with.

 

Marketing

I studied marketing with both CIM and IDM, and I use this knowledge and insight to help advise clients on a variety of marketing activities.

 

When I’m not working you’ll find me painting things turquoise, colour coding everything, planning fancy dress outfits, lusting after mid-century furniture, and hanging out with my cat. Probably not all at the same time though.
